Average evolution of surveys over 2024
Trends in PM10 and PM2.5 concentrations show a downward trend over the early part of the year, but with a marked rise in levels in June confirmed in July and increased in August. The average levels found are relatively acceptable against the currently recommended WHO standard.
The average temperature in Toulouse is above the average temperature recorded in recent years, reflecting the observed global warming.
Changes in concentration and average temperature, although showing similar trends, do not allow a correlation between the two factors to be deduced. This is also confirmed through the detailed statements provided in the monthly tabs provided.
The high concentration point in the Toulouse suburbs over the month of January results from a sensitivity of citizen sensors to fog insufficiently corrected; however, the fog phenomenon did not reproduce over the following months.
